COVID-19 Guidelines

At Salons by Vista College, our top priority is to maintain the health and safety of our students, employees and clients while continuing to deliver our mission. We are monitoring the ever-changing COVID-19 public health crisis, and are making frequent protocols decisions, some of which may continue to develop and change. We commit to providing you the most current information possible on this site.

All guests, students, and staff must self-monitor for symptoms – if in the last 24 hours they have experienced any of the following, they may not enter:

  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Fever
  • Chills or shaking due to chills
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Diarrhea
  • Loss of sense of taste or smell

Guests, students, or staff who exhibit any of these symptoms, or who have been recently exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19, will NOT be permitted entry or service.

To maintain a safe environment, we will follow our regular sanitation practices and TDLR and CDC guidelines that include the following:

  • MASKS ARE REQUIRED. The mask must secure behind the ears.
  • We will check temperatures (touchless), and will not allow entry for anyone registering over 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees Celsius).
  • Clients must come to the appointment alone – no additional guests or children.
  • Clients will wait in their cars, not in the salon.
  • Upon entering, everyone will immediately wash their hands, and use hand sanitizer as necessary.
  • Stylists will disinfect supplies before, during and after clients, and during the day.
  • Appointments are preferable – we may not be able to serve walk-ins.
  • Not all services are available to reduce extended exposure.
  • We reduced the number of people in the salon to maintain social distancing.
  • We are accepting non-contact payment only.
